Lazy Camping With a Popup Tent

Every year millions of Americans venture off on vacation to escape the cell phones, television, video games and all the other distractions of everyday life to go camping.  Something about getting back to basics and being close to nature rejuvenates the soul.  Avid campers know that they need the right equipment to do the job like sleeping bags, air mattresses, portable grills, flashlights and the all important tent.  One of the more convenient forms of this temporary structure is the popup tent which takes away the headache of assembling a more traditional tent.

What is a popup tent?

This design is just like a traditional tent however the way it is erected is different. A popup tent does not require the assembly of long flexible poles that need to be threaded through loops in the tent walls like a regular model. Instead, all poles and joints are already apart of the tent. They are designed to fold down in circular patterns so the tent can be easily stored. They unravel in a reverse order to erect the tent. Many popup tents can be erected in a minute or less.

If you are looking for camping tents that sleep two, the CampRight Pop Up tent is a pretty decent model. It retails online in most places for a little over 100 dollars. The manufacturer claims that the tent can be set up in one minute and it requires no poles. It features more than enough space for two adults, two windows that zipper shut, storm covers, made from water resistant nylon, sealed seams and a water resistant floor material. The tent folds down into a circle to be put into its carrying case and also comes with a one year warranty.

Camping is one of the great American pass times and is now becoming easier than ever with the advent of convenient camping technology like popup tents. If you are less of a rugged or rustic camper and need a little more comfort, many manufacturers also make convenient popup campers, pop up tent campers, and popup tent trailer. These items can be towed behind a vehicle and offer things like propane heat and a sturdy roof. They sleep up to four or five people and have ample storage and protection from the elements. However, this is definitely not an option for someone looking for cheap tents.  Popup campers or tent campers are significantly more expensive than a tent retailing for thousands of dollars.
